Disintegration

How can the process of entropy be expressed through the course of daily life?

The Disintegration series investigates how the preparation of food relates to entropy and decomposition. In these works the physical form of various fruits are systematically destroyed and reduced down into a group of increasing small fragments. The shift in form from oneness to fragmentation is a metaphor for all biological processes, which ultimately conclude with the division and dispersal of the individual.
